Hi Tech Automotive serviced my 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT for a non-functioning A/C. Turns out those pesky mice got into the cabin filter and tore it up dropping pieces into the blower motor shorting it out. Ugh! But the technicians quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it within just a few hours of dropping it off. Their service was exemplary, but more importantly their communication was top notch. I received detailed pictures and phone calls supporting the diagnosis and in depth quotes that were exactly what I paid. Just a few days later I took my daughters RAV4 in for brakes and an alignment which pricing was quoted to me when I made the appointment and once again, we paid exactly what we were quoted and we got detailed pictures before and after. I highly recommend Hi Tech Automotive and will definitely be taking my cars for all my services to them in the future.

I was very pleased with the communication. It was easy to get ahold of someone to check the status of my repair. I traveled to Reno from OR and had an issue with the turbo. Hi Tech found the problem quickly and provided a reasonable solution. I drive my 2015 BMW 328i back OR and it ran beautifully. I’m happy with its smooth performance. This shop earned my trust! We love coming to this shop (as much as anyone can love their car needing repairs!) We always have such a great experience! Everyone here is super kind, willing to spend the time to show us our vehicle so we can see why they recommend their repairs, and will even spend the time to break down the terminology into something that is more digestible for someone not as familiar with cars. When Henry answers the phone, he usually recognizes me by name and always answers my many questions with nothing but patience. Tom showed my husband and I our vehicle damages on two separate occasions, and took the time to create multiple quotes for us so that we can properly weigh our options for our budget. I spoke with the owner, Perry for the first time and he was super helpful! He ensured that I was kept up to date on our service, he was very kind on the phone and was able to answer all billing questions that I had as well. Lastly, our tail pipe tips were so destroyed and we had spoken with Tom about some of our options. He gave us wonderful information about how to go about that repair along with some rust remover recommendations. He let us know that they took care of the tips for us as a cou

Hi Tech has been consistently reliable every time I’ve taken my vehicle in for service. They have great availability, always finish services quick, don’t overcharge, and get the work done right. After struggling to find a reputable mechanic for years and resorting to doing a lot of my own maintenance, I greatly appreciate this shop. My car was having sudden steering issues that caused safety concerns, and they were able to get it in the shop same day and were truthful it was an easy fix which they didn’t charge for. I highly recommend them, and have referred multiple people I care about, that have limited car knowledge to use their services as I know they’ll be honest and get them taken care of for a fair price.

UPDATED !! I beleive the tech here sabotoged my car. The alternator ground was disconnected. I had my car in for a smog check. NO ONE has been under the hood of my car but me and them. How did it get like this? If they didnt sabatoge it then the tech missed it during inspection. Although wires dont just fall off. I cant believe i put 50k miles on the car with it like that. It cost me 1200$ to fix and a night stranded sleeping in the car while i was traveling. Never again. Cant trust anybody nowdays. I would also like to note that i remember sitting there that day and recieving a dirty look from the tech. I thought what is his problem he doesnt like my old car? Maybe he looks at eveyone like that. Whatever. Overpriced shop anyway. Tons of people in reno who can work on my car from now on. Everytime i have come here the staff seems stressed and it is not fun. Maybe the owner is too greedy. Tired of it. Let em rot. Not getting My money ever again. UPDATE: it is convenient and further evidence of their lies that they claim they never worked on my car. Here is the Carfax report that I cannot fake.
